HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR CHASTITY CAGE

Whether you are starting out in chastity play or a seasoned wearer of chastity cages, Choosing the right size chastity cage is an integral part of the chastity process. It should be tight enough to prevent erections, but not so tight that it causes pain. The ideal chastity device tube will fit your penis tightly but not constrict it to the point that it cannot release urine. Ideally, your urethral slit will lie against the opening at the end of the tube. The width of the tube will be narrow and completely prevent you from achieving erection, no matter how aroused you may become. HAPPYGO sell chastity cages in a variety of shapes and sizes and for 99% of people there will be a great cage for you, When you get it right, You can wear it as long as you want, with no issues at all with comfort, chafing or irritation.

So what do you need to do to find your ideal fit? And so to achieve that perfect fit, you'll be making four measurements which are as follows:

1. Ring size

2. Cage length

3. Internal cage diameter

4. Cage gap

MEASURING AND CALCULATING YOUR COCK RING CIRCUMFERENCE

Here at HAPPYGO, most of our products feature either a single, adjustable ring or a set of 2-5 rings of various sizes. These rings are measured by their diameter, which is the distance from one side of the ring to the other, However the penis is round and plump in shape, it is quite difficult to find the diameter of it. we recommend measuring the circumference, which is the full distance around your cock. Once you have this measurement then you can perform a simple calculation to work out the diameter. A perfectly sized ring will fit snugly behind your testicles but will continue to allow blood to flow to the penis. It should not pinch or leave your equipment feeling numb or uncomfortable.

To obtain accurate dimensions of your cock's circumference, we recommend first taking a hot bath or shower. This will leave your penis flaccid but encourage the active flow of blood so that your final result will account for the slight swelling of the equipment as blood passes through. For best results, take your measurement immediately upon getting out of the shower or bath, before your body has had any time to cool down.

You can use either a cloth measuring tape, or a piece of string or ribbon. If you use string or ribbon, you’ll need to make a mark on it where the two pieces cross over, then place it next to a ruler to find the length of the string.

Simply wrap the tape measure or string all the way around your penis and testicles, at the base of the penis.

Once you've got your circumference, simply divide it by pi (approximately 3.14) to obtain the diameter. Below are a few examples of such calculations using popular cock ring sizes:

Circumference behind testicles of 157mm (6.1 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter of 50mm (1.96 inches)

Circumference behind testicles of 141mm (5.5 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter of 45mm (1.77 inches)

Circumference behind testicles of 125mm (4.9 inches) ÷ 3.14 = ring diameter of 40mm (1.57 inches)

In addition to the Circular rings, you can also see the arced rings, Both sizes are comparable, the sizing doesn't change much based on shape, but feel a little different on the body.

Circular rings are the classic shape that most of the original chastity cage designs utilised.  A uniform circle, very easy to measure for and it's hard to go wrong.

Arced rings are a smidge more long from top to bottom than circular rings, but conversely taper in a little as they go down so they slightly redistribute how the press against the testicles but ultimately give a very similar result.

According to the chastity cage standard, the diameter of the circular rings is divided into 5 sizes: 36mm (1.42 inches), 40mm (1.57 inches), 45mm (1.77 inches), 50mm (1.97 inches), 50mm (2.17 inches), and the size of the arced rings is also 5 sizes. You can match the 5 sizes of the arced rings with the 5 sizes of the circular rings from small to large, and you will get the size of the arced ring that suits you.

MEASURING YOUR PENIS LENGTH FOR THE CHASTITY CAGE TUBE

Finding the right length for the long "tube" portion of your new cock cage is a significantly simpler process. You can use a straight ruler to measure the length of your equipment from base to tip.

As with the ring, we recommend doing this right after a hot bath or shower, so that the penis is completely flaccid but there is some active blood flow to the area.

Stand up tall with your back straight. Place the edge of the ruler against the base of your penis and lay it flat on the top of your penis. Then, in order to obtain the most accurate measurement, press the ruler firmly against your pubic bone. This prevents any belly fat from getting in the way.

When choosing a chastity device, do not look for the tube which most closely matches your equipment in length. Instead, subtract between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch (6 and 13 mm) from your measurement. For example:

Flaccid penis length of 4 inches = 3.5 or 3.75 inches.

Flaccid penis length of 3 inches = 2.5 or 2.75 inches.

Flaccid penis length of 2 inches = 1.5 or 1.75 inches.

Flaccid penis length of less than 2 inches = 1 or 1.25 inches.

The ideal chastity device tube will fit your penis tightly but not constrict it to the point that it cannot release urine. Ideally, your urethral slit will lie against the opening at the end of the tube. The width of the tube will be narrow and completely prevent you from achieving erection, no matter how aroused you may become.

MEASURING YOUR PENIS DIAMETER FOR THE CHASTITY CAGE TUBE

Now that you are familiar with calculating the diameter, we will repeat it again, this time for your penis. Please measure immediately after a hot bath or shower, Using a measuring tape or string, wrap it around your penis and note where the measurement crosses over on your tape, or mark a string with a pen then measure it against a ruler. Repeat this process a further 2-3 times and average out the measurement before dividing by 3.14 to give you the flaccid diameter of your penis. The inner diameters of cages on the market are mainly 33 mm and 35 mm, of course there are also larger 40 mm and smaller 28 mm. As a reminder, we are looking for a snug fit.Keep in mind that your penis will squeeze into an area slightly smaller with no discomfort so do not worry about that. Our goal here is to stop any erection dead in its tracks.

Measuring the gap between cage and ring

This is an often overlooked part of the chastity fitting process and addresses the gap that exists between the closed cage, once it has been locked shut, and the ring that it is affixed to. It is through this gap that your testicles will sit. The role of this gap is to clasp your ball sack to prevent escape. Narrow enough to not allow a gap for your testicles to slip through, and wide enough that it's not squashing the skin of your testicles uncomfortably. If your scrotum hangs particularly low or forward, then you’ll want a cage with a larger gap. If your scrotum is high and tight to your body you’ll want a smaller gap. Most of the time you won’t need to worry about this, Since most people have a similar skin thickness in the scrotal area, designers have already taken this into account when designing, the gap is typically between 5 and 10 millimeters. but if you are having trouble finding a comfortable cage then paying more attention to the gap size can improve the situation. Normally, your body will adjust over the first week of wear and things that perhaps initially feel uncomfortable will settle as you get used to wearing the cage. By the second week most people will almost forget that they are wearing it.
